Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They let the site remember your actions and preferences for a period of time. Alongside cookies, we also use similar browser storage technology, such as localStorage and session-related data — in this policy we refer to all of them together as "cookies".

How we use cookies

At the moment we use only strictly necessary and functional cookies — those without which the site would not work correctly and securely, plus those that remember your preferences. We do not use cookies for audience measurement (analytics) or for marketing and advertising.

Your cookie choice itself is stored in your browser (in a cookie or in localStorage) so that we can remember it and do not ask you again on every visit.

Cookie categories

We group cookies into four categories. Strictly necessary cookies are always on; the other categories are off by default and are only enabled with your consent.

  • Strictly necessary — required for the core functioning and security of the site (remembering your cookie choice and protecting forms from abuse). They cannot be turned off. Default: on.
  • Functional — remember your preferences, such as language and video playback settings, for a smoother experience. Default: off.
  • Analytics — anonymously measure traffic and help us understand how the site is used. We do not use them at the moment. Default: off.
  • Marketing — track visits to show relevant advertising. We do not use them at the moment. Default: off.

Cookie table

An overview of the cookies and similar technology the site currently uses. Details for each item — name, provider, purpose, category, and duration — are shown in the table below.

Third-party cookies

Some site features rely on third-party services that may set their own cookies or similar technology:

  • Mux — playback of video content. Mux may set the data needed for playback only once you start a video yourself.
  • Cloudflare (Turnstile) — protecting forms from spam and abuse; it sets a short-lived security token.

These services are provided by companies based in, or processing data in, the United States, which is not on the list of countries with an adequate level of protection. We safeguard these transfers with standard contractual clauses and, where possible, by processing in European Union regions. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

Managing your consent

You are in control of cookies:

  • On your first visit, in the cookie notice you can choose Accept all, Reject all, or open Preferences and choose per category what you allow.
  • You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent and takes effect immediately.
  • You can also delete and restrict cookies in your browser settings.

Refusing cookies that are not strictly necessary does not limit your access to the site or its content — we do not use a "cookie wall".

Changes

We may update this cookie policy from time to time, for example when we introduce new cookies or services. The current version is always published on this page. Last updated: [DATUM].
